Meet our alpacas

Our farm is located just east of Edmonton, Alberta. Our little herd came together with the help of KJ Alpacas. We now have six lovely ladies (and a fresh baby boy) who call the farm home and every one of them is unique!

Read more about our herd below:

  • Born on July 14, 2021

Silhouette is a lovely rich red color with a little black nose, and as the resident baby she needs her emotional support animal (Luna) by her side at all times in order to cope with the world. 2025 will be a big year for Sil - we're hoping that she will welcome a cria to the world!

She’s timid, very pretty and always the very last one to try anything new.

  • Born on July 9, 2021

Shady…aka Luna Girl is black in colour with fiber that acts like Velcro – she’s always carrying around treasures in her coat!

She’d win awards for being the nosiest and greediest…but also the cutest.

Shady goes by many names: Shady Lady, Luna, Luna Girl and STOP IT.

  • Born May 27, 2020

Merlot is another one of our gorgeous red-heads.

Her claim to fame? Being called voluptuous by an internationally accredited judge at the Canadian National Alpaca Sale and Futurity in 2022.

We’re excited to watch her grow even more as she’s expecting her second cria in June 2025! She had a little boy named Barolo After Dark in July of 2023 and we can't wait to meet another of her little ones.

  • Born on August 16, 2018

Kinley is Luna’s mum but even before they arrived on the farm Kinley had adopted Silhouette as her own!

She really wants to be Shear’s best friend because she’s convinced that blondes have more fun…Shear is convinced that they won’t so she ghosts Kinley at every opportunity.

  • Born June 30, 2018

The last of our redheads, Mimi loves food more than anything and is willing to ‘spit fight’ for it – don’t get caught in the crossfire because she currently holds the record for both distance and velocity.

Nyomi didn't have a ton of free time this summer as she welcomed a little cria, Toro de Oro, to the world. Toro is a lovely golden boy who was born in June and he's definitely kept his mumma on her toes ever since!

  • Born June 4, 2011

The oldest of our gals, Shear Energy is blonde or ‘fawn’ in color and despite her name, she doesn't behave very energetically…ever.

Shear is big into self care and will even lay down for pedicures (aka toe nail trims). Her best friend is Merlot and they’re definitely our resident Mean Girls, neither Kinley nor Nyomi have been able to break into their friend group.
