Alpaca Meet and Greet- Aug. 18
Are you curious about all things alpaca?
Maybe you’ve wondered how their fibre gets from an animal to your sweater?
Have you ever contemplated what alpacas like more - carrots or clover?
Join the Blooms on 7 Alpaca Crew for Alberta Open Farms Days to learn all about these inquisitive creatures!
This is a great option if you’d like to learn about and interact with the herd in a group setting. You’ll get to know their names, their likes, and their (many!) quirks. We’ll spend 45 minutes out with the herd and you’ll hear about everything from their big fuzzy ears to their weird little toenails and signature ‘beans’.
Come prepared with a charged phone and bug spray, but please leave all of the alpaca snacks at home.
Please note that this experience is not geared toward children under the age of 7. It is presented in a lecture style format with the chance to ask questions and then feed the herd at the end. In order to ensure an enjoyable experience, we cannot accommodate littles at this time.
