A meet and greet with the herd where you’ll get to feed the alpacas and learn about their fibre. You'll select a yarn and learn how to use a circular knitting technique to create your own toque. You'll leave with a completed wearable product and have a story to tell about the alpaca it came from!
A brand new offering for 2026! Join Louise (alpaca mum and crafting extraordinaire) for a truly unique fibre experience.
This workshop includes a meet and greet with the herd where you’ll get to feed the alpacas and learn about their fibre. The herd will be your inspiration for creating a toque out of their fibre! While in the field Louise will guide you through creating your own toque using a circular knitting technique You’ll leave with a completed wearable toque and have a story to tell about the alpaca it came from. Can a craft get any better than that?!
No previous fibre craft experience needed. A selection of alcohol free beverages and snacks will be provided.
